Textfrog (“Textfrog”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is owned and operated by Cronweb Solutions Private Limited.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you access or use Textfrog.com, including our website discovery platform, user accounts, AI-assisted listing tools, directory pages, reviews, upvotes, claim-listing features, advertising placements, affiliate program, contact forms, embedded widgets, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using Textfrog, creating an account, submitting a link, purchasing a paid placement, joining the affiliate program, contacting us, or otherwise interacting with the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Textfrog in connection with:

  • browsing Textfrog.com;
  • creating or managing a user account;
  • submitting, editing, claiming, reporting, reviewing, or upvoting a listing;

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, advertisers, products, tools, platforms, casinos, financial services, crypto platforms, earning websites, SaaS products, blogs, marketplaces, or other external links listed or promoted through Textfrog. When you leave Textfrog by clicking an external link, the privacy policy of that third-party website controls how that website handles your information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and limited information collected from public web pages when a link is submitted or indexed.

2.1 Account Information

When you register, log in, or manage your account, we may collect:

  • account status;

When you submit, claim, edit, report, review, or interact with a listing, we may collect:

  • submitted URL;
  • website name, title, description, category, tags, screenshots, favicon, metadata, social links, and other listing details;
  • information extracted from the submitted website, including publicly available metadata such as title tags, meta descriptions, Open Graph data, visible page content, public images, favicons, and screenshots;
  • AI-assisted title, description, summary, category, or content outputs generated from submitted or publicly available website information;
  • your review text, rating, upvote, report reason, issue report, or moderation notes;
  • claim-listing requests and verification information;
  • timestamps, submission status, approval status, and moderation actions.

Textfrog is a discovery and directory platform. Listing pages may be publicly visible. Do not submit confidential, private, sensitive, or proprietary information that you do not want to be displayed publicly.

2.3 Advertising and Payment-Related Information

If you purchase a paid advertising package, sponsored placement, featured listing, or similar digital visibility service, we may collect:

  • advertiser name and account details;
  • billing contact details;
  • selected package, plan duration, price, campaign dates, placement information, invoice/order identifiers, and payment status;
  • payment confirmation, failed-payment status, refund/cancellation request details, chargeback/dispute information, and related correspondence;
  • any documents or information required to verify the advertiser, website, ownership, lawful authority, or compliance status.

We do not intentionally store full card numbers, UPI credentials, CVV, net-banking passwords, or complete payment instrument details on Textfrog servers. Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors, banks, card networks, UPI providers, or payment gateways. Those providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.

2.4 Affiliate Program Information

If you join or use the Textfrog affiliate program, we may collect:

  • affiliate account details;
  • referral code or tracking link;
  • click, sign-up, conversion, sale, commission, payout request, and payout status data;
  • traffic source, campaign notes, promotional asset usage, and fraud-prevention signals;
  • payment details needed to process eligible affiliate payouts, if applicable.

  • listing, claim, review, moderation, or advertising updates;

You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications, but we may still send important service, account, security, legal, billing, or policy messages.

5. Public Content and Directory Listings

Textfrog is designed to publish and organize website listings. The following may be public:

  • URL and external website link;
  • listing title, description, summary, category, tags, screenshots, favicon, social links, and metadata;
  • AI-generated or manually edited listing content;
  • reviews, ratings, upvotes, badges, widgets, and similar public interactions;
  • advertiser labels, sponsored listing indicators, and promoted placements.

You should not submit content that is confidential, private, sensitive, illegal, infringing, misleading, or not authorized for publication.

6. AI-Assisted Features

Textfrog may use AI or automation to help generate or improve listing titles, descriptions, summaries, categories, article-style content, recommendations, and discovery results.

AI-generated content may be based on:

  • submitted URLs;
  • publicly available website content;
  • user-provided listing information;
  • category and platform context;
  • metadata, screenshots, and publicly visible webpage signals.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable. We may review, edit, reject, or remove AI-assisted content. Users and advertisers are responsible for ensuring that submitted websites, descriptions, claims, and promotional materials are accurate, lawful, non-misleading, and authorized.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as described below.

7.1 Service Providers

We may share information with trusted vendors and service providers who help us operate the Services, including:

  • hosting providers;
  • database and cloud infrastructure providers;

Listings, reviews, badges, sponsored placements, and directory content may be publicly visible. If you post public content, other users, search engines, archives, social platforms, and third-party services may access, index, cache, or share it.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • provide and improve the Services;
  • maintain user accounts and listing history;
  • operate paid advertising and affiliate records;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, and audit obligations;
  • resolve disputes, refunds, chargebacks, and enforcement matters;

  • protect our rights and platform integrity.

Public listing information may remain visible until removed, rejected, updated, de-indexed, or otherwise modified by us. Some records may be retained in backups, logs, archives, payment records, or compliance systems for a limited period even after account deletion or listing removal.

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.   • removal would affect legal claims, audit records, chargeback documentation, or payment records;

Textfrog contains links to third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for:

  • third-party privacy policies;
  • third-party content;
  • third-party products or services;
  • third-party payment flows;
  • third-party claims, rewards, offers, investments, games, casinos, crypto, software, downloads, or business practices;
  • third-party cookies, tracking, analytics, or advertising technologies.

Before interacting with any third-party website, you should review its own privacy policy, terms, risk disclosures, and payment terms.

13. Children’s Privacy

Textfrog is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction may use the Services only with appropriate parental or guardian consent where required. Paid advertising purchases and affiliate participation are intended for users who are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we may delete the information and terminate the account.

14. International Users and Transfers

Textfrog may be accessed globally. Your information may be processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. 15. Do Not Track
